Dear Jesus, I love you and I am so happy you came into my life. Please bring me into contact with someone who needs to know you. Make it clear that I should be sharing with that person and give me the words to say. I promise to share the message boldly. Amen
As Radical Catholics we have to be committed to bringing others into the Light of Christ. I am sure you feel that need to share Jesus with everyone but maybe you are scared or unsure that you will have the words to say. I was the same way when I first invited Jesus into my life. When I started praying this prayer the craziest thing began to happen. The prayer worked… You wouldn’t believe the conversations that have happened since then. There were times when I was so worried to bring it up but then God made it painfully obvious that He had set up the whole situation.
Since the time I started praying that prayer my average plane ride has been spent talking to the person next to me about Jesus. These “meetings” sometimes only last a few short minutes and the people are left wondering what to do next. That is why I have memorized the following prayer to write down for them to take with them:
Jesus, I am so unfulfilled in my life. If you are real then please come into my life and reveal yourself to me. Free me from my sins and cleanse me. I want to know you Lord. Please come into my life. Amen.
You can give people a copy of this prayer and tell them to pray it everyday then tell them to read the gospels. At this point the plan is perfect because you can no longer mess it up. It is now in God’s hands and as the loving Father that He is He knows exactly how to care for them. the next part you play is just to pray, pray, pray.
If you have a passionate relationship with Jesus then you need to share him with the world. If you are scared then pray that God will set up, “divine appointments” for you and give you the words to say. Remember that if you pray this prayer it will work and God will send people to you so be ready.
